Currently working on
-New project about production and how we can reduce waste. This will be done together with my friend Filip Eckerdal Ivarsson and will be shown in Copenhagen at Sum from 25 April - 9 May. More information to come as we get closer to the opening and as the project gets going.
-”Tradurre Roma” also a new project in the pipeline, yesterday I got home from Rome after being there for a week provided by a travel grant from Nationalbankens Jubilæumsfond doing some research for a new project. I have been taking a lot of photos that now will be organized and the starting point for the project. I have also been filming and will hopefully release a youtube-video from there this week, so be on the lookout for that :)
- -Tavlett(sort of a shelf), for an upcoming exhibition at Crum Heaven in Stockholm with vernissage the 20th of February. It is now done and ready for delivery.
-Had a vernissage for “Stacking High” at Open Studio in Malmö and it will be there until 14th of February. I am happy with the turnout and I have a lot of new stuff I want to develop further that I started exploring in that project.
-Creative Call with Carl and Co. First edition starting now in Febuary. A 4-week online course for artists and creators to connect, share, and grow – together. -I applied for 36 grants in January. (new record)
Thinking about
How to make a living as an artist. It is hard and you have to find ways of doing it, especially in the beginning of your career. It all comes down to problem-solving, and thinking of the worst possible outcome and for me that would be to get a normal job. That really gets you going and you start to look for new ways of doing things, you are forced to think differently, and this is a great way to come up with creative solutions.
